Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide accurate information and assistance

Education & Experience

• Completion of a high school level education with attainment of a high school diploma or a State High School Equivalency Certificate (GED). Completion of some college coursework is strongly preferred.
• Two (2) years work experience in a clerical or receptionist position in a health care setting such as an acute care hospital, physicians office, or a Health Maintenance Organization, performing admissions processing or registration work is preferred.

• Basic computer literacy and data entry skills
• Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends

Working Conditions & Schedule

• Weekend, shift work, on-call, holiday and overtime may be required.
• Usual office conditions involving a high- volume of public contact.
• Work requires walking and escorting patients to hospital rooms.
