Understand BWI products performance, internal and external manufacturing processes, design and process validation and related regulatory impacts.<ul><li>Leads Margin Acceleration front end engine: ideas incubator, early technical assessments and coarse feasibility activities prior to charter projects.</li><li>Conducts advanced knowledge and expertise to Margin Acceleration Project Engineering initiatives of strategic importance leading to the company's end-to-end supply chain customer-specific deliverable requirements.</li><li>Leads and monitors progresses on significantly complex Margin Acceleration Project Engineering schematics, engaging cross-functional teams (R&D, LCM, Quality, Procurement, Manufacturing, Regulatory, PMO, Suppliers) to ensure optimal supply chain engineering solutions.</li><li>Directs teams regarding ongoing Margin Acceleration Project Engineering plans, key milestones, and objectives, to ensure deliverables are aligned with operational needs and requirements.</li><li>Drives plans to address any Margin Acceleration Project Engineering non-conformance and subsequent corrective and preventive actions, by documenting, investigating, and conducting root cause analysis, and successfully implementing corrective actions.</li><li>Leads capital and expense forecasts for assigned Margin Acceleration engineering projects, to ensure outputs adhere to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance requirements.</li><li>Drives process validations on Margin Acceleration Project Engineering processes for subsequent operational integration and supply chain implementation.</li><li>Guides supervision of Project Engineering Technicians and Engineering Contractors by supporting and enforcing site-specific safety and industrial hygiene requirements.</li><li>Communicates and escalate in a timely manner, any Project Engineering issues or concerns to the next management level.</li><li>Guides junior colleagues through consultation and mentoring in techniques and processes, and provides functional (matrix) supervision.</li><li>Integrates Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives into team goals and decision making.</li></ul>QualificationsEducation:<ul><li>Minimum of a bachelor's Engineering degree or equivalent is required, advanced degree preferred</li></ul>Experience and Skills:Required:<ul><li>minimum 8 years of business experience</li><li>Experience with talent hiring and development</li><li>Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in bridging technical and business fields, evaluating and resolving appropriate risks</li><li>Quality and Compliance mentality</li><li>Excellent Communications skills</li><li>Problem-solving-finds innovative ways to apply engineering principles and drives efficiencies</li><li>Experience leading projects and demonstrated project leadership abilities</li><li>Product design, product and process validation, budget management, project engineering</li></ul>Preferred:<ul><li>Experience in fast-paced early development environments</li><li>Experience in the Medical Device industry or medical field</li><li>Influencing-lead multi-functional teams and people to achieve consensus and optimized results</li></ul>Johnson & Johnson is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
