Sr. Dashboard Developer (Medicare/Medicaid)
Our work is looking for aDashboard Developer to help us support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). At GDIT, people are our differentiator. As a Dashboard Developer you will be trusted to work with meaningful data, highlighting fraud, waste, and abuse (FWA) detected in the Medicare and Medicaid programs. In this role, a typical day will include:Designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards that provide meaningful insights using Tableau, Power BI, or similar platformsCollaborating with data analysts, data scientists as well as managers to collect requirements, understand needs, and convert into visualizationsConverting raw data into compelling dashboards that enable efficient decision makingMaintaining and updating existing dashboards as needed, and train on how best to interact with themPerforming quality checks on visualizations for data accuracyPresenting monthly visualizations at large meetings Required Skills:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science (or related field of study)3-5 years of related experienceMust have experience and working knowledge of Medicaire/MedicaidFamiliarity with Databricks, Snowflake, Tableau, or Power BI (or similar dashboard platforms)Familiarity with SQL, understanding of data modeling, and experience working with large datasetsAbility to create data visualizations to present complex analyses and to illustrate trendsFamiliarity with R or Python for data scienceKnowledge of best practices for dashboard design, including accessibility and usability standardsAbility to obtain a Public trust and must have lived in the US for 3 of the past 5 years Desired Skills:Strong working knowledge of R or Python for data science Strong working knowledge of best practices for dashboard design, including accessibility and usability standards Strong working knowledge of Databricks and Snowflake Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical team membersBe a self-starter with a natural curiosity to understand, simplify and explain complex data #GDITHealth #healthcarefraud #fwa
