Job Description

TheEnterprise Field ToolsManageris responsible for acting as liaison betweenBusiness Stakeholders, BTS, Training, OEC, Legal,APEXCOE,andTherapeutic AreaIn-field and In-houseteams to oversee the design, deployment, training, communications, and management offieldforcetools(CRM,reporting dashboardsetc.)across AbbVies Enterprise teams.

This position drives field force effectiveness through strategic partnership with business units toensureour callplans,field tools and operations provide ourinfield teams with what they need to drive the business in their markets.This positionreportsintothe leader.

Responsibilities:

Business Unit Management:

  • SME and Key Point of Contactforinfield and in-house business unit leadershipas needed

  • Support theonboardingof any new teams, as well as new hires/transfers into existing teams

  • Leadcoordinated efforts with the Therapeutic Areas and Infield Leadership for other infield team effectiveness initiatives to improve infield strategic execution.

System Management:

  • Design, Testing, and Deployment for on-goingfield toolreleases and enhancements.

  • Coordinating across theTherapeutic Areas,BTS, OECandLegal to ensure business requirements are well defined and approved;development of project plans for systems and business deployment steps, and deployment is coordinated and managed withHQ operationsandInfield Leadership.

  • Develop andmaintainbusinessrulesand ensure functional requirements documents areupdated and correct per the business needsfor use by BTS to ensureimpactful system updates are deployed accurately and efficiently.

  • Proactive engagementwith Therapeutic Area Leaders,inhouseLeadership and fieldusers to provide system enhancement/business processrecommendations.

  • ProvideLevel 2 support for Help Desk Cases and root cause analysis and investigation of systems related issues.

  • Create processes and documentation to ensure strong technical support forfield toolsapplication users,including-Fieldusers, Regulatory, Legal, OEC,Business Unit,Operations, and others as needed including management of knowledgebase for the Field Helpdesk.

Project Management:

  • Cross functional leadership acrossFPAT,Field Operations, Trainingand Commercial BTS to roll out projects in scope andon time.

  • Develop project plans that integrate and align with cross departmental processes and otherprojects,andprovideinnovative solutions to overcome project hurdles.

  • Acts as a resource to provide innovative solutions to mitigate risks, manage competing customer priorities,facilitatecontingency plans, maximize cost-effective resourceutilization, and improve field force effectiveness.

Communications and Training:

  • Develop communication and training plans for systemenhancementsto ensure effective change management

  • Facilitatenew hire training (IFTC/AFTC), provide support during field meetingsandpresent systems capabilities to key internal stakeholders.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent inbusiness, technical, or health-related fieldrequired.

  • 5+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry, specific experience with infield activities, roles and behaviors with a strong customer and operations focus preferred.

  • 5+ years of experience in developing, deploying, and managing effective IT systems, quality control procedures, and comfort in directing complex analytics.

  • 5+ years of experience in supporting the implementation ofnew technologyrelated systems and processes and/or project management.

  • Able to manage multiple tasks/priorities simultaneously withsenseof urgency.

  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Internet Explorer, and SharePoint.Proficiencywith Excel advanced features for data analysis, reports, macros, pivottablesand lookup tables.

  • Excellent written,verbaland presentation skills.

  • Ability to develop and execute innovative, creative solutions.

  • Excellent business acumen, understanding of Compliance, Legal, Med/Regdriversand guidance.

  • Ability to clearly and confidently articulate complex and difficult concepts.

Preferred:

  • Master's degree in business, ITor science preferred.

  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical industry, complianceregulationsand standards preferred.

  • Veeva/Salesforce.com experience preferred.

  • Knowledge of applicable regulations and standards affecting Pharmaceutical Products.(e.g.CFR 210/211, cGMP)
